Tracy Jackson

Board Member

Tracy Jackson brings extensive experience in business consulting, congressional operations, and community advocacy to the Nueces Center for Mental Health & Intellectual Disabilities Board. His public service experience includes serving as a volunteer caseworker for a long-standing US congressional member for several years, where he managed complex federal agency cases involving Social Security, Veterans Affairs, Immigration, and Medicare systems. With over 15 years as a business and financial consultant, Mr. Jackson provides expert guidance to small businesses and Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs) on government contracting, financial management, and self-employment strategies.

His commitment to community service is evident through his current role as Chair of the Nueces County Child Welfare Board, where he leads strategic decision-making for child welfare initiatives and oversees budget allocation for foster care and adoption services. He also served on the North Beach Community Association, collaborating on community development initiatives.

His dedication to child advocacy includes training and certification as a Court Appointed Special Advocate/Guardian Ad Litem with Child Advocates in Houston, where he advocated for the best interests of abused and neglected children.
